John Rocha became Ozark Catholic Academy’s founding Head of School in August 2016.  Born in California and living briefly in Ohio and Georgia, John became a Texan as quickly as his dad’s military service would allow. John, his wife Donna, and 10 children came to the Northwest Arkansas community from Houston which had been his home since 1978. Most recently, John helped found Western Academy, an independent Catholic liberal arts school for boys. There he served as both Director of Development and as a member of the school’s Administrative Council, helping to manage the school’s daily operations. Prior to Western Academy, John was Academic Director for the Free Enterprise Institute where he developed and implemented educational programs for teacher professional development. In his later years at the Institute, he also served as its Director of Institutional Advancement.
