THE HOUSE SYSTEM AT OCA
Ozark Catholic is divided (students, faculty and staff) into four houses. The house names are taken from the four elements of the school’s coat of arms, each with a motto connected to the ideals to which an Ozark Catholic student aspires. Houses are an opportunity to be a part of a team and a leader—everyone belongs and everyone participates in house competitions and games.
The Houses of Ozark Catholic serve many important purposes, such as:
Communicating and encouraging the embodiment of the school's ideals;
Encouraging leadership, camaraderie, and a sense of pride at Ozark Catholic;
Strengthening the enthusiasm and spirit for Ozark Catholic and giving the community a strong culture and a sense of belonging to a tradition and family;
Encouraging competition as “rallying points” throughout the year to nurture an appreciation of, and participation in, festivity;
Building and creating a culture that is unique to Ozark Catholic.
